The AMND Committee has provided us with some of the details for the upcoming 2020 AMND Winter season, please see below for details:
- Season will run from Saturday 18 July to Saturday 26 September (11 weeks including finals)
- All senior grades will have ten teams where possible
- All junior grades will have eight teams where possible
- GO teams will not play finals but will play until 26 September
- There will be three weeks of finals for all other grades
- At this stage all match times will be as normal
- Players only need to have played 3 games to qualify for finals
- The fixtures may only be released two weeks at a time throughout the season
- There will be no regrading unless there is an outstanding anomaly in a grade
- There will be no club days
- It is recommended that there is a limit on who enters the stadium, for example, only one parent per player
- Entry fees and season pass costs are still to be confirmed
- NSA will not be charging an entry fee for the first 4 rounds
- All players need to be registered in MyNetball by 10 July
- It is recommended that alternatives are used for shaking hands at the end of a game and hands in at each break
Netball SA and the AMND Committee are doing the best that they can with the information available and will keep us updated as we progress towards the start of the season.
It is important to remember that SAPOL have the authority to shut the stadium down if regulations and guidelines are not being followed.
